Regulations have been amended
On February 3, 2011, the Office of the Kansas State Fire Marshal was notified that the revisions made to the Kansas Fire Prevention Code have been formally adopted and published in the Kansas Registrar. See here for a copy of the Kansas Registrar
Regulations Overview
K.A.R 31-133 mandates that the Kansas State Fire Marshal adopts reasonable rules and regulations for the safeguarding of life and property from fire, explosion and hazardous materials.
K.A.R 31-139 grants the Kansas State Fire Marshal, deputies of the fire marshal, and local organized fire department personnel authority to enter all buildings and premises, other than one and two family dwellings, for the purpose of inspecting compliance with the rules and regulations.
